My love for a Brooklyn Brownstone runs deep—nothing will ever change that. But that doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate the fly, new developments popping up all over the city (and world!). These five buildings are setting the bar for luxury amenities in 2024. It’s cool to note that while they all feature the traditional high-end and custom finishes (which is expected), many have also gone to great lengths to foster bespoke experiences—the type you’d seek out at vacation resorts. I’d love to hear what you think of these; especially The 74, the Upper East Side’s newest new development.
NYC Insider: What’s Happening This Week
I can imagine many of you are decompressing and laying low after a hectic holiday season. Personally, I find this week to be a great time to snag hard-to-get restaurant reservations. After having a private chef in Jamaica, the bar has been raised considerably. So, I’m keen on checking out Madre in Greenpoint, Claro in Park Slope, and Tatiana by Kwame Onwuachi in Lincoln Center. If you’re open to it, let’s get a small group reservation going and check them out together.

Set BIG, Scary Goals
Read this before you cement your New Year’s Resolution. When it comes to goal setting, it’s not that we set our goals too high and don’t make them, it’s that we set them way too low, and do. Think about that.
Shooting for the stars is what gets you to realize your potential! Whether it was me trying to ‘get on’ in the music industry or making my way in real estate, it’s always been big scary goals that got me there. You should have three goals: a goal you feel confident you can achieve, a goal that will stretch you, and your “what the hell are you thinking?!” goal.
The point of all this is to remember that if we put it out there, and support our goals with massive determined action, we can achieve things we never believed were possible. It’s not just the goal itself, it’s getting your mind to be limitless. That’s typically the missing ingredient. So…shoot for the stars, and worst case be ready to walk on the moon.
$2.5M Bed Stuy Townhome: Five Bed, Three-And-Two-Half Bath!

274 Bainbridge Street is a stunning brownstone that blends chic finishes with historical appeal. The price for the number of bedrooms and floors is good value in my eyes. The living room and kitchen are really special. I mean, just look at those windows! Here are the highlights:
- Generous ceilings, ornate moldings, and a functional wood-burning fireplace with its original mantle.
- The beautifully windowed chef’s kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and custom cabinetry.
- A fully finished basement and roof are ideal for entertainment, relaxation, storage, or work.
- Two-bed, two-bath rental unit on the garden level provides the opportunity for additional income.
- Who wants a tour?
