Every time I find myself in Grand Central Station I’m awed by its grandeur. I mean…how fly is that ceiling?? Something I’ll never stop loving about NYC is the epic mix of architecture in one city block. This Beaux Arts depot has a storied history and Architectural Digest dives into it beautifully in this piece chronicling the past, present, and future of this world famous train station. Give it a read and let me know what you think.

Weekly Wisdom 💎
In order to build success, you have to sacrifice.
One of my earliest lessons came from my time in the music industry (circa 1995). This job required me traveling 2+ hours each way to Flavor Unit in Jersey City from Long Island…a brutal 4 hours every day for basically no money ($318/wk), a “low level” position (receptionist, I was trying to be an A&R), and a good dose of humility (I had come from running my own company to being at the bottom of the totem pole). And yet, it still resonates as one of the happiest times in my life. There was a lot of sacrifice but it served as a vital foundation for what was to come. This week ask yourself: what are you willing to sacrifice to be great? Your time? Your money? Your energy? Your ego?
