Real Estate Remix
Brooklyn Heightsâ crown jewel is finally getting its second act. After years of sitting in limbo, the historic Hotel Bossert, once dubbed the âWaldorf-Astoria of Brooklynâ has officially been acquired by SomeraRoad for $100M. The plan? Luxury residences.
Built in 1909 and steeped in old-school glam (this was where the Dodgers celebrated their 1955 World Series win), Bossert has been through it: restorations, delays, and multiple ownership handoffs. But this time feels different. The team is local, the vision is in place, and the neighborhood? Already one of the most architecturally blessed in the borough (one time for my hood!)
If SomeraRoad delivers on the goods, this could become one of the most iconic adaptive reuse projects in the borough. Brooklynâs past and future just shook hands.

Courage Looks Like This
Courage isnât loud. Itâs not always the speech, the stage, or the dramatic leap.
Sometimes itâs showing up anyway, with the doubt still in your chest and your hands not quite steady. Itâs making the call. Asking the question. Saying the thing that feels risky but necessary.
Courage is walking into a room where youâre not yet comfortable and deciding to take up space anyway.
Itâs giving yourself permission to go first, even when the path isnât marked.
This week, donât wait to feel fearless. Just move while youâre still afraid.
Thatâs the real flex.
Because courage isnât the absence of fearâitâs the refusal to be ruled by it.
