Compass just dropped a bombshell: a $1.6 billion all-stock acquisition of Anywhere, the parent company of Corcoran, Sotheby’s, Coldwell Banker, and a few more heavy hitters, potentially closing in late 2026. If approved, together we would be the world’s largest residential brokerage, a $10 billion giant with 340,000 agents spread across 120 countries.
By bringing the top two U.S. brokerage players under one roof, it unlocks reach, resources, and collaboration on a global scale. For agents, that means sharper tools, deeper market insights, and a platform that keeps us ahead of the curve. This month, the first tee comes to Midtown. Starting tomorrow, from Sept 25–28, Rockefeller Plaza flips into a Ryder Cup playground with a Toptracer sim of Bethpage Black’s nerve-wracking opener. Best of all, it’s free to the public! (Because only in New York do you take a driver to Rock Center!)
