Real Estate RemixÂ
I just listed a đ„new condo in Downtown Brooklyn for $2M. Itâs a 2-bed, 2.5-bath home designed for living well. Picture this: morning coffee on your private terrace. Chef-level meals made in your sleek, modern kitchen. Restful sleep in either one of your two oversized bedrooms. Multiple hiding spots to keep your things organized (including a huge walk-in closet. Golden sunsets fill your living space with warm, natural light. If this sounds like your kind of lifestyle, 319 Schermerhorn St, Unit 20B might be for you. If you (or anyone in your circle) want in, reply to this email with your availability to tour.Â
NYC Insider: Whatâs Happening This WeekÂ
I hadnât heard of Tulip Day until a few years ago when it blew up on my Instagram! Itâs when 17,000 tulips take over Union Square, and anyone can come grab a bouquet for free. This yearâs Tulip Day is on Sunday, March 30th, from 11:30-4 pm. In order to organize crowds, theyâre requesting you register for a (free) ticket in advance. Tickets will become available this coming Monday, March 17th. So mark your cals, grab a ticket, and be ready to enjoy your free bouquet. Hereâs what to expect!Â
Weekly Gem đ
White Flag for the âWâ (actually an âLâ until the next go round)
A few years ago, while on vacation with my family in Hawaii, I made an attempt to check surfing off of my bucket list. Despite not feeling well that morning, I pushed through as Iâve wanted to learn to surf since my last attempt 14+ years ago. After catching my first wave, I immediately fell off. No big deal, right? Just paddle over to the channel to wait my turn again. Sounds good, except I felt with everything in my body that I was toast.Â
I was so disappointed in myself, but I felt like I was going to pass out and it took everything I had to paddle back to shore, a heartfelt prayer included. It was a sobering moment and one that I felt important to reshare. At what point do we give ourselves permission to quit, to call it, to fold?
  My takeaways are as follows:
- Respect the ocean and how strong you need to be to enter it. Full strength or not at all!
- Next time (yes, I will keep trying until I do it) I will be better prepared and in better shape.
- I learned that if/when you have to stop, the world goes on. Itâs OKâmy bruised ego asideâthe day ended on a high note with both of my kids successfully riding the wave!Â
I hope this gem gives you the strength to âtap outâ when necessary. You will know when you are putting yourself in danger or just being lazy or taking the easy way out. I can hold my head high knowing I gave what I could. Next time, I will conquer. Until thenâŠ
The Best Homes on the Market This Week Â
Here are three of my favorite fly listings in NYC across all price points.  Because Team Carte Blanche is all about the people, not the price. Â
![]() $5,500,000  5 Bed / 6 Bath  Prospect Heights This brownstone is landmarked and sits on a corner lot! Recently restored, the home blends modern comforts with historic detailsâthink: original fireplace with crown moldings meets radiant heated floors. Itâs beautiful and impressive. Listed by Adam Sadel |

![]() $2,395,000  2 Bed / 2 Bath  Williamsburg This duplex offers tremendous outdoor space across TWO sprawling landscaped terraces. Itâs one of those rare homes that blends luxury, scale, and views. I love the floating steel staircase and double-height ceilingsâboth remind me of a luxe SoHo loft. Listed by Greg Mire |

![]() $720,000  1 Bed / 1 Bath  Murray Hill Easily convertible into a 2 bedroom, this co-op is spacious and sits high above the city with unobstructed northwest views of the Empire State and Chrysler building! Listed by Heather Cella |
Before you goâŠ
đ¶: The Williamsburg Hermes flagship store is getting ready to open. This is a big deal for the neighborhood, with many viewing this as an indicator that North 6th St is the new 5th Ave. What do YOU think??Â
đ”: Elvis Presleyâs former LA home is now on the marketâcan you guess how much itâs listed for?Â
đ„: This famous Greenpoint bakery just opened a second location in Prospect Heights, and lines are already over an hour long!! If you live close and can go at an odd hour, Iâve heard the focaccia and custard croissants are worth it.Â
đ: Happier people tend to have these 5 evening habits. No doubt, Iâm a big proponent of #1!Â
đŹ: For my fellow readers, here are the books becoming movies and shows this year. Which one are you most excited for? Â
