💎 A Jeweled $17M Brooklyn Heights Townhouse 💎

December 11, 2024

What Up Family?

Welcome to The Edit with Aaron Seawood, a lifestyle letter serving a weekly dose of real estate, culture, and wisdom—all in three minutes or less. Let’s dive in.

Real Estate Remix

This newly listed Greek Revival townhouse in Brooklyn Heights was too fly to ignore. Besides having good bones, 37 Sidney Place was recently redecorated by interior decorator Sasha Bikoff who added rich, jewel-toned colors, plush fabrics, and bold wall coverings that reflected the owner’s eclectic personal style. It’s a treat for the eyes and certainly differentiates itself from the typical neutral-toned homes we see staged all the time. The $17M single-family townhouse is 23 feet wide with 6 bedrooms and 7.2 baths. I love the green color scheme in the garden room and the mural in the primary bedroom is dope! Take a look for yourself

NYC Insider: What’s Happening This Week

Holiday markets can be great, but they can also get mad busy, making it tough to actually get any shopping and gift buying done. This market however is by appointment only and located inside a loft in SoHo. Since it’s curated by Salon 21, you know their products are actually worth it. There’s a ton of cool home goods, art, and jewelry. It just opened on Monday so snag an appointment before they sell out.

Weekly Gem 💎

Admit it! You are dope.

I posted this on my Instagram last week and got a lot of responses so I wanted to share it here again in a less fleeting format. Admit it! You are dope. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. You’ve grinded for YEARS to become who you are today. It’s time to stop pretending to be less than you are in order to protect someone else’s ego. Be unapologetically who you are—you’ve earned that.

The Best Homes on the Market This Week

Here are three of my favorite fly listings in NYC across all price points. Because Team Carte Blanche is all about the people, not the price.

85 Charles St.

$12,995,000   5 Bed | 4.2 Bath   West Village

Located on one of the most sought-after blocks in the West Village! This 20-foot-wide, 5-story townhome has been renovated and modernized. There’s 4,928 SF of interior living space plus a landscaped roof deck and gorgeous private terrace.

325 W Broadway,  4B

$4,150,000    2 Bed | 2.5 Bath    SoHo

With western exposures from every room, residence 4B is an open floor plan condo with floor-to-ceiling windows located inside the distinctive XOCO 325 building. Find boutique services, pristine finishes, and understated luxury in every room.

44 Gramercy Park N, 6E

$1,550,000   1 Bed | 1 Bath    Gramercy

This home comes with the ultimate flex: your very own key to the park! This renovated one-bed blends old-world charm with modern conveniences including beamed ceilings, fine moldings, and casement windows. A home with a key to the park doesn’t come available often.

Who wants a tour?

Before you go…

🍝: Food & Wine’s most popular recipes of 2024. Number 25 (pork chops with apples and bacon, yum) and number 18 (Italian Wedding Lasagna Soup, say what?!) look INSANE to me! I gotta try these.

🦜: Wow. These sculptures from Art Basel Miami are unreal.

💳: An iconic hotel just reopened in NYC and their penthouse suite costs $80K/night! Wild.

🤎: Pantone announced their 2025 color of the year and I’m a fan! It’s calming and understated in an elegant way. What say you?
